Troubadours ( The Name in Occitan. Trobadors):   Extracts from the Song of the Crusade

The Song of the Crusade, (La Chanson de la Croisade) is an Occitan poem dealing with the first part of the Catholic crusader wars against the people of the Languedoc in the thirteenth century. It is also, more accurately, referred to as the Song of the Cathar Wars.
